Terms.
What you can expect from Starglade and this website, and what we ask of you, in plain words.

Who we are.
These terms are between you and Starglade Software LLC (“we”), which makes and sells Starglade. Using Starglade or this site means you agree to them. Our mailing address is Starglade Software LLC, 2108 N St Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816.
-
Personal, free.
Personal use: hobbies, learning and teaching, and open source in your own time, on any of your computers.
-
Individual.
One person, in their own name, on any of their computers, work included. A company can't buy an Individual license for its people or pay one back; that's what Business is for. A one-person company may buy Individual for its owner.
-
Business.
Per person, bought by a company or organization for its people. A Business license covers the number of people on it, each on the computers they work on.
-
What no license allows.
No license lets you share Starglade beyond the people it covers; sell, rent or pass on copies of it; or change it or get around its license check.
-
Paying, and renewing each year.
Individual is $49 a year. Business is $99 per person a year. Both renew automatically each year, at the price you agreed to at checkout, until you cancel. If a price changes, we tell you before the renewal it applies to. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your license stays current until the “Licensed through” date on it. To cancel, use the link in your receipt, or write to support@starglade.app.
-
Who takes your order.
This page will name who takes payment, adds tax and sends your receipt before Starglade goes on sale.
-
Refunds.
Within 30 days of paying, for Individual or Business, you get all of it back. How refunds work.
-
Not on sale yet.
Starglade isn’t out yet, so nothing has been sold. These terms describe how it will be sold, and its prices are on the pricing page.
-
Your data.
Starglade reads the Git history on your computer, and your code never leaves it. Starglade isn’t out yet, so it hasn’t sent anything anywhere. Before it ships, this page will say whatever it connects to, such as checking this site for new versions. The privacy page says the rest.
-
What’s ours.
The words and drawings on this site, Starglade's mark, and the names Starglade and Starglade Software belong to Starglade Software LLC. You're welcome to read the site, link to it and share links to it. To use anything else from it, write to us first. Other companies' names belong to their owners.
-
If something goes wrong.
Starglade and this site are provided as they are. We work to get things right, but as far as the law allows we make no promises beyond these terms, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing. If you live somewhere whose laws give you rights these terms can't take away, those rights still apply.
-
Changes, and the law.
If we change these terms, the change applies from your next renewal, and the date at the top of this page moves with it. Plans, features and what each license includes can change over time; a license covers what it was sold with, for its term. California's laws govern these terms.
